Awakening & Honor Yourself

When I pulled Awakening, my first thought was that the 2020s have felt like a massive ongoing awakening, both individually and collectively. Realizing we’re now six years past the shutdown (wow!), it’s clear that awakening isn’t a single moment. It’s a spiral.
We move through layers and cycles, waking up to deeper levels of truth and fine tuning and expanding our inner resonance. Each turn brings us closer to the center of ourselves.
At times awakening can feel overwhelming. When the pendulum swings strongly in one direction, whether in activation or reaction, the invitation is to return to neutrality and find our center, whatever that looks like for each of us. This is where our true power lies.
March’s message, from earlier this month, to Honor Yourself is worth revisiting. During intense periods of growth, honoring ourselves means deepening self-care, grounding practices and listening to what our body, mind, and spirit need to restore balance.
What brings you back to your center and restores balance for you?
What practices help you honor yourself when things feel overwhelming?
What has awakened and continues to deepen and expand within you over the last six years?
Honoring ourselves isn't a luxury, it's essential to our wellbeing. We can neutralize the intensity of awakening through mindfulness practices, creativity, inner peace, and time connecting with what is real: love, nature, joy. Because no matter what is happening on the outer stage, ultimately what we are awakening to is ourselves.
Wishing you insightful, grounded inspiration throughout the rest of this month.
With Gratitude,
Allyson
